Why Sherbrooke?

What does it mean that Jesus is the centre of our faith?
The church interprets scripture through Jesus' teachings, actions, death, and resurrection, viewing Him as having final authority over our lives and community. Jesus is not just one voice among many — He is the defining voice.
What does it mean to be Anabaptist?
Biblical mountaintop experiences — the Sermon on the Mount and Mt. Calvary — are central. The church prioritizes Jesus' peace and reconciliation over doctrines emphasizing judgment and war. We follow Jesus in the way of peace.
What does the priesthood of all believers mean?
The Spirit speaks equally to all church members, not exclusively to leaders. Every member is invited to respond to spiritual guidance. We believe that the voice of the congregation matters — all are priests before God.
What does it mean to be † Culture?
† Culture = living a life of the cross: surrender, humility and love.
† Culture = honouring the languages and cultures of our neighbourhood and church.
We believe the cross calls us to lay down our preferences for the sake of others.
